Sawyer Started Preschool!!! I can't believe my baby is old enough to go to school:)He was so excited to start school and ride the bus with his Brother and Sis. This kid makes me laugh hard I was so worried about him going to school having yet to figure out a few key things like inside voice and sitting still and inside voice- those of you that know Sawyer totally get what I'm saying:) but he has been just fine and he tells me that his "Teacher" has to always tel him to "Get back on your letter Sawyer" so maybe he still needs a little work on sitting still HAHA!!! I just love this kid and wish I could keep him home with me always but like his Bro. and Sis. he has to grow up too.

Talmage had his first "Pinewood Derby" He did so great he took second place. I was so proud of him, he worked so hard on his car and actually did it pretty much himself with just a little help from Dad( since mean Mom wouldn't let him use the band saw!!!). The car was awesome seriously looked like it was a muscle car from the eighties cracked me up!

Saturday we hiked "Hickman's Bridge" It was so much fun and surprising how much easier it is without having a child in the backpack or snugglie:) This was the first year that Sawyer hiked the whole thing on his own and we had to practically run to keep up with him.

Talmage at his art show. The elementary put on an Art Night to show off some of the art projects that the students have been working on this year. Talmage's class worked with pottery and they all made a pot. They also drew pictures and displayed pictures and stories from the first of the year to the end of the year-pretty amazing how much they grow and learn!!

This is how I let my three year old play outside with pajama top, diaper, and high heals O'h and don't forget the sword! And yes it makes me really sad that I have to include diaper on my stubborn 3 year old!!!!!!! Any tips or ideas??

Laine's spring dance recital. I couldn't get my camera to focus and flash right so the pics are not very good- I've decided that anything that's in a gym or auditorium I can just forget good pictures. Laine danced two dances one to "Lolly pop" and the other to "You've got a friend in me". It was really cute and she did such a good job!!!!

So these pics are not in order- you would think that after doing this for a few years I would remember which pictures to upload first but I never can so you get it all backwards-It's all good:)

After Laine's graduation I asked her where she wanted to go out to lunch to celebrate her big day. I thought she would say some fun restaurant but no she said she wanted "Gifford house berry pie" and Subway. I'm like O.K. , so we called Grandma and asked her if she wanted to have lunch with us and off we went to the Park for a fun lunch. I really think it was more about the monkey tree and seeing Gma than it was the food:) Good times!!!!

I know not a great picture but I am never in any of the pictures and since this is how I scrapbook I wanted Laine to know that her Mom is a part of pretty much everything even if it's not documented:)

They stood on a surfboard and tossed a beach ball back and forth and the teacher asked Laine what the best thing she learned this year was and she told them the sound of the letter "B" and then they asked her fav. color and she said "pink". It was all really fun and cute it's crazy to think she'll be in kindergarten next year.

If I did this more than every six months!!!!!

O.k so let me start off by saying that yes, I am aware that I am not on top of things when it comes to blogging- and no I'm probably not going to get any better.

Sawyer and Laine both had birthdays in April so lots of parties to celebrate Sawyer is 3 and Laine is 5--- I know crazy!!!!

On Laine's birthday she went to lunch with two of her friends it was lots of fun!!

So the next group of pics were actually a week after Easter but it was so cold on Easter weekend that we waited until it got warm to roll easter eggs and have a picnic. Brando knew of a great spot where there were lots of awesome egg rolling hills. The kids had sooo much fun climbing hills and dragging Dad up the hill. We had bbq and flew kites and like I said

It was pretty fun watching the kids look for Easter eggs this year. Talmage is a little taller and could find them a lot easier this year although he had a few challenges and Sawyer was awesome at finding them the little stinker would find them all before you could even turn around and Laine bless her heart it's a good thing she's cute because she almost had to trip over the Easter eggs to find them!!! They crack me up my cute kids!!

The cousins came to visit a few days over spring break so of course good weather means "MONKEY TREE" My kids loves going down to Capitol Reef and playing on the Monkey Tree, it's a pretty cool tree if I might add.

Talmage at the "Spring Review"He was so funny the night before he could hardly sleep he was so nervous about singing and dancing in front of a big crowd that little clown he was so funny and I'm pretty sure he wasn't nervous AT ALL!!!!! I love this kind of stuff:) and sorry about the pic my camera was doing some funny stuff so the pictures not that great. Tal is the one in green.

Halloween 09

We started Halloween out in Bicknell-went trick-or-treating at Grandma and Great Grandma's houses and then headed for Fayette. It was Seths big 19th birthday. We had a party for him lots of fun. Laura just got home the day before from her surgery so Katie, Ang and I helped with the dinner. I think every present Seth got was ties or socks and white shirts- HA! HA! He loved it, besides what else do you get a 19 year old?!! We then took the kids to get their year supply of candy:) We had lots of fun. Thanks again to the Fayette clan:)

Happy Birthday Talmage #7

We had a fun family party for Talmages Birthday! Lots of his cousins and aunts and Uncles and Grandparents came for dinner and cake and icecream. This was the first year that Talmage has a friend birthday party and it was lots of fun. He picked ten of his friends and took them to the movie ( I know I'm crazy ten 7 year olds at the movie all sugared up on popcorn, candy and pop)The movie was "Partly Cloudy with a chance of meetballs" It was a blast! I do have pictures of his friend party but I'm missing a lot of pictures like first day of school Tal and Laine so hopefully they'll get found and I can post them-atleast have them because that makes me super sad if they are lost!!!!Thanks to all his friends and family that made his birthday so much fun:) Once again he was so spoiled-or well loved!!Thanks:)

24th weekend

The kids wanted to go to the Beach for the Holiday weekend so we took a little road trip and went to Lake Powell. We had lots of fun playing in the water and seeing the sights. All I have to say is I said it once about ten years ago and I didn't listen to myself but I'll say it again "Unless I have a houseboat with A.C. I will never camp at Lake Powell again. I don't know how people do it!!! It's stinkin Hot!!!! We put the seats down in the back of the car and rolled out sleeping bags- this way we could turn on the A.C. every once in a while. I'm paranoid of Carbon Monoxide so we didn't do it often but it saved us. So we literally slept "IN A VAN DOWN BY THE WATER!!"Cute little bum shots of the kids walking down to the beach!!

Glen Canyon Dam. There was the awesomest thunder and lightening storm that night it was really cool for about three hours and then nothing but heat!!! We sang "Swim said the Mama fish swim if you can and they swam and they swam right over the dam" about a thousand times. It was a lot of fun!!!

We spent a little time in Kanab-who knew you could have so much fun in Kanab?!!! We went to a western movie set place it was lots of fun and the kids loved it! Then we went to a water park that they have in town- it was a lot of fun. Such a spur of the moment trip and way cheap and our kids kept saying to us "Thanks Mom and Dad this is the best trip ever!" Funny how we think we have to spend money to have a good time when all our kids care about is spending time with us -they always say, "Can we do it as a family" makes me grateful that I have such an awesome family that like to do things together as a family. I hope it doesn't change as they get older. I don't think it will since Brando and I are so stinkin cool!!!:)

24th of July

On the 24th of July we have a Bicknell town party. A man in our ward has a fish hatchery and he brings a bunch of fish to the party for the kids to catch. It's tons of fun for the kiddos:) Talmage and a few of his friends got a little carried away and jumped in after the fish. We taught our kids the "catch and release" thing this year since we still have last years fish in the freezer!

This is my Moms side of the family. We had our Jensen family reunion in Fishlake. It was so much fun seeing family that I don't get to see very often. We were still missing a few but maybe next year:) Thanks to everyone my Aunts and Uncles that work so hard to put this together it was a lot of fun and we look forward to next years:)

We camped up twelve mile in a spot that we haven't camped in for probably over ten years. It was a great spot!!!

We didn't have enough helmets and Brando had forgotten to get his fishing licence so on the next day of camp Brando and I had to go down to Gunnison to pick up a few essentials ya know like license and helmets. When we went to pick up Brando's fishing license Ace told us that the computers were down-What! Are you kidding me?!! So we went down to freedom ford and ended up buying Tal and Laine new helmets and Brando said; "let's just try one more time to get a fishing license and maybe in the last 15 min. the computers are back up" and what do you know it wasn't a wasted trip after all, he got his license and the kids got new helmets and all was good, we made it back and only missed out on three hours of the camping trip. I didn't even shower when we went down. Our kids are getting older and camping this year was sooo much fun-no getting up with babies, Sawyer is older now and doesn't eat everything he can get his hands on. We all could go on the rides and hikes it was just so much fun!! Time flies when your having fun and time flew!!!!!

We went to Gunnison for the 4th of July parade and celebration. After that we left to head up to the mountains for the annual Lyman camp. We had lots of fun with family and look forward to next year when Grandpa Lyman will be home from the mission and can be with us!Candy! Candy! Candy!

O.k. So I know I said last time that I was going to be better at this but a lot has happened in the last two months. We have moved to a different house-(no not our own we still haven't built) although we have practically remodeled this whole house and it is pretty cute if I must say so myself:)But like I said we have been pretty busy as you'll find out with the rest of my blog. I've tried to catch up with the last two months and that's just the highlights that I remembered to bring my camera to.

Brandon is the best husband and the greatest Dad I could ever ask for my children. He is so good to help and play and spend as much of his free time with them that he can. I am so grateful that I have a husband that values being a husband and Dad above all else. He is the most unselfish person I know, I love him soo much! Happy Fathers Day you're the best!!!

Girls Camp June 2009

This is my first year doing girls camp with Thurber Ward- I've been in Y.W. for over two years but last year we did the trek so we missed camp. The girls are awesome and it was sooo much fun. There was such a great spirit up there and you get to know the girls on a much deeper level. I love Young Women's and all the girls and leaders I work with, it is seriously one of the busiest, best most fulfilling callings I've ever had! Thurber Ward Girls Rock!!!!!!

Story Time at the Library June 2009

Rock Concert at our house!!Dayton came and stayed at our house for a few days after school got out. The kids had lots of fun playing. They came upstairs one day and told me they had a show for me and they put on a "Rock Concert" it was awesome. Sawyer and Brando were in the crowd cheering them on!

Wellness Works Marithon 2009

Hurray for my kids and Brando they were such good sports and did the Marathon last Saturday. It was so cold but there was still a really good turn out. I had to help set up and do registrations so Brando took the kids .All bundled up ready to go. Laine did walk some but it was too cold she needed the blanket:)

At the finish line they had hot chocolate and Gatorade for all who participated. Talmage took first in his age- he was the only one his age but who cares, just goes to show his awesomeness for going:)

Happy Birthday Big Guy!!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!! Happy Birthday Big Guy hard to believe he's two!!! Well except in action:)he's definitly a two year old that way. Sawyer is full of spunk and we love it!!
We all had work and school that day so that night we has some good friends of ours( The Stevens) come over and have shakes and just play for a little while.

Here we are just enjoying the company.

Sawyer got one last present on his actual B-day and it was books:) This bag has made its way around my family it's kind-of tradition to pass it on to the next birthday person. It will be a sad day when the bag makes it's final round:) But thats not for a long time it's still in mint condition.

We had a Birthday Party for Laine, Sawyer and Anya at our house on March 28th. Sawyers Birthday is April 3rd and Laine's Birthday is April 12th(Easter this year) so we had to plan a party when everyone could make it! April is a pretty busy month for everyone:)Sawyer got lots of cars, balls and a basketball hoop and of course cloths-he doesn't really care about clothes but I love them!!

Ryan's visit from New York 3/19-3/23/09

Brandon's brother Ryan came for a visit this last weekend from New York and the kids had a chance to get to know him a bit more. Sawyer had never met him before so it was fun for them to meet! Ryan's not used to having kids around so I think it was kind-of a shock to his system.

Brandon's Birthday Breakfast 2/14/09

The kids wanted to make their Daddy breakfast for his Birthday so we got up early and let Brando sleep in and made him pancakes, sausage, eggs and fruit. Brandon is usually the breakfast chef so it was a surprise (we think)! Talmage wanted to put candles on his pancakes and I think they had him blow his candles out about ten times!

Talmage and Brando went to the Harlem Globe Trotters for Brandon's B-Day. They had a good time. Talmage would almost pee his pants laughing so hard telling me about how funny they were and how they pulled there pants down all the time! I was just praying that he didn't learn something new and try it at school!:)

Hiking at Capitol Reef- Grand Wash

Finally a somewhat warm day that we could go down to the park hiking! We went with Grandma and Grandpa Jensen, the Hiskey's and Lisa Johnson and her kids. We packed a picnic and set off for hiking. We had a good time- we ended up with about ten pounds of red mud on all of our shoes which of course only made it that much more fun that the Moms didn't get mad at the kids for getting all muddy!

I know this has been a lot to catch up on and this is only half of what we've been up to, but I didn't want to put too many pictures on here. I will try really hard to be better with the updating-funny that's what my journal say's about every year when I start feeling guilty and pick it up to write in it. I spend about a day catching up and at the end I say I am going to do this once a week- then a year later I pick it up and do it all over again! So who knows if I'll really be any better but I will try!!! We have been busy the Taft's are moving back and we haven't built our house yet. Any of you that really know Brando and I shouldn't be surprised because we like to talk about things for a couple of years and then we have to take at least another year to make sure we have the perfect house plan for us- We've changed it about ten times! I think we really have it this time! Whoa hoa!!! We are moving the end of April into another rental and hopefully we are really ready to start building-soon!:) We'll keep ya posted!

We had our annual college friend Christmas party on Jan. 3rd. It was lots of fun! We started this after we left Cedar City and it was hard to get together. Chris actually was the spearhead of the whole thing up until last year-the first year after he got married (and the first year we missed having the party) I guess he had other things going on in his life besides us-go figure:). We had a good turn out of the old gang-those of you that couldn't make it were missed.This picture was taken at one of our Christmas parties down in Cedar in 1998. We've changed just a little bit! We thought we were sooo cool!
Here we are now and we still think we're sooo cool! There have been a few changes - additions to this picture the "next generation" kind of crazy that there's more kids than adults but GREAT! We hope we continue to do this for lots of years:)

All the kids big and small had a great Christmas this year! We are so fortunate to have such a wonderful Family that we get to spend time with. It was great having Dad and Marcia home from their mission for the holidays. We're so grateful for the Savior and the wonderful gifts he has given us! It's so easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle when really the best part is being with family and remembering others! Thanks Dad and Marcia for letting us spend it with you at your house. We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too!

Talmage and Dayton were Grandpa's buddies- both sitting on his lap during the game! I think Grandpa's trying to convince Dayt that a pizza cutter's a cool present:) He traded later!
We had lots of fun! We tried to play a different present pass game this year and we decided that we're just too nice to play this way! Nobody would steal from anybody else! Hey but I'm not complaining I ended up with the grand prize so worked for me:)

This is actually a picture of our family Christmas party that afternoon!
The kids were spoiled from Santa and everybody else. They had so much fun opening presents. I think Tal kind-of takes after his Mom he gets them opened in ten seconds flat!

All the kids got guitars this year- What was Santa thinking! They have had so much fun with them. Lots of Rock concerts at our house!

Laine got the Barbie karaoke guitar so she's the lead singer in the Jensen rock band.

Talmage is ready for lessons! Maybe he'll take after his Great Grandpa Talmage and have a natural talent for it.

Talmage, Laine and Sawyer got books from Grandma on Christmas eve! She's given them a Christmas book every Christmas Eve (or close to it) Since Tal was a babe! They love it!!

Sawyer loves to pose for the camera. If he hears "say cheese" he gets a big smile and the eyes automatically close, Such a crack-up.

Hey at least he's on his lap! I sometimes wonder what we're doing to our poor kids by making them sit on Santa's lap- we constantly teach them not to talk to strangers but here sit on the lap of this hairy guy in a funny red suit. But regardless of what it looks like we love Santa and Sawyer walked around all month saying "ho ho ho" really cute and quite a mile stone because unlike the other two he's not our talker:)

Yesterday the Lyman girls all got together and made Christmas candy! It was lots of fun! We wanted to make some of my Moms candy but the only thing we could do was the Carmel's-because it was such a cloudy day. Instead we pretty much tried some new recipes. We made Mint truffles(recipe compliments of Kandice) which turned out so yummy-but tucked away in a safe place until the Christmas party. We also did the dipped pretzels and Almond Joys. We had tons of fun making candy but mostly just being together!!

To everyone wondering why I'm such a slacker lately with the whole blogging thing-SORRY! My camera is on the blitz and I don't have that many pictures to post. I'm looking at cameras and hopefully I'll be once again a blogging maniac. Here's a little update- We had a wonderful Thanksgiving we had dinner at Brandon's parents house and did the usual turkey, crafts and fun! Brandon's Grandpa came down and his Aunt Jennae and Uncle Ray and their family. It was lots of fun. I also had my first official lesson on making Grandma Nelsons dipped chocolates. It was a lot of fun and hopefully we'll continue the tradition and I can pass it on down to my kids.Laine and Havie are "BEST FRIENDS" Laine had a sleep over with "Her Girls" as she calls them. I'm so glad she has girl cousins to play with because there aren't any girls her age here!

Talmage turned "6" on Oct. 28th! Can you believe it? We had such a fun party for him. He wanted a knight party so we had all the boys as knights and all the girls as princesses.Opening presents!! SPOILED!!!
Talmage wanted a sword cake! He blew out all his candles in one breath:)

All the cousins with their shields and swords! The kids all decorated their shields and then they got a sword. Brandon dressed up as the evil black knight and the kids worked together to defeat him!(poor Brando) he's such a good sport!!!

Last Saturday was our anniversary -so we decided to go for a ride up in the mountains to see the changing leaves. It was so pretty and the weather was perfect! Talmage

Weekend in Salt Lake City

We went up to SLC to visit Pops and Marcia it was a great weekend. They took us to the Church Family History building were they are currently serving their mission. We walked around Temple Square and a few other places it was a lot of fun. The kids loved the waterfalls!!
The temple grounds are so beautiful this time of year-any time really.

We had such a great weekend we spent Friday with my Dad and Marcia and then we went up to Kaysville to spent time with Brandon's Family. Brando's cousin was visiting from back east. Talmage and Laine and Sawyer had lots of fun with cousins and Aunts and Uncles and Grandparents-We found out their getting some new cousins on the Nelson side (Pretty exciting stuff) We had such a great time with family. We then went back down to SLC to go to church with my Dad and Marcia. It's pretty cool their ward is in the Joseph Smith memorial Building. They have a special missionary ward so pretty much every one is old and we were the only ones with kids it was crazy how noisy our kids sounded in Sacrament and they were being REALLY good! We had a pretty awesome weekend:)

What a big kindergartner!!!!!Talmage's first day of school. Brandon and I took him to school and he was so excited to be there it didn't matter who went with him! His teacher is Miss Davis and he thinks she's great. He looks so cute and such a big boy!
We got to the school, Talmage walked in and got right down to business-meanwhile Mom is outside the door holding back tears because my baby is in kindergarten!
He got off the bus and Brando was there to pick him up and take him home on the motorcycle. Talmage was all smiles he loves school!!

Wayne County Fair

The theme for the fair this year was building family memories-So my Young Women came up with the idea of a family road trip. Brandon made us an awesome sign and we found the best car for the trip...... This is the sign Brando made for us "Building family memories mile by mile"
This beauty is the car we found for the trip-She's a beauty! "reminds me of our old station wag when I was REALLY young!" Notice Grandma on the roof HA!HA!
We had Dayton, Havie and Anya with us for the weekend it was a lot of fun having them for the parade-Talmage and Laine love to have cousins come and stay:) They got so much candy that it wasn't even funny-I guess that's what happens when you're the cutest kids at the fair!
They have a place for memorial flags for all the veterans in the war.It was really a cool thing.
All the kids wanted to climb on the big tractors they had on display, Brando wanted to climb up to but it was too hard with the back pack on! Poor Brando:)

Lyman Family Camp!!

This was the year without pa and the "Hairy Toe" We all missed Grandpa and his stories but don't you worry the kids have been practicing their begging skills so that when Grandpa's home from his mission they'll be ready to beg him for the story! Although G-pa and Marcia were gone we still managed to have a good time on the family camp! The one thing we didn't get was a big group picture so I did the best I could to get pictures of everyone! I picked these pictures of my kids because I felt that they portrayed their personalities SO well

After eleven months of having Brando's bike torn apart and I mean literally torn apart he has finally fixed it and put it back together! He tried for two days to get it to start after he put it back together, but last night at about 11:30p.m. he finally got it to start. I didn't have my camera with me but he had the biggest smile from ear to ear to finally get it started. He is still wearing the same smile today:)!!!Now he can take it camping and go riding with the boys!

Talmage and Laine decided to play barber shop- (not o.k.) She totally looks like Joe Dirt with her mullet.
This is when I told her we had to get the rest of her hair cut. She was so upset she thought that she wouldn't be a princess anymore. We assured her that she's still a princess!
After her haircut she looks so cute! Laine loves it now and she told me she's still a princess-she's Snow White, because she has short hair:)

On Sunday we went to Fayette for a BBQ. Dennis cooked a really good dinner of marinade turkey YUM!!

After dinner Katie wanted to show us all some wild roses by Mile's wash. They were so pretty!

Brandon thinks he's SO sneaky! He planned a little trip for me for my birthday-I totally had it figured out! For starters I was going to go into work and just work on the computer and he told me he didn't think it was a good idea-so I pretty much figured it out then. When he came home we were packed and ready to go:) Not really.We started out at Teasdale and headed off for the first annual ATV camping trip. We headed out on the great western trail and set up camp at Pleasant Creek(I think) It was really pretty and the kids had a chance to go fishing!
Talmage and Laine had a fun time fishing. They caught a lot of floating logs of wood! Laine was such a serious little fisherman!
Brandon totally had mad cooking skills!! All he needed was a skillet and something to cook over the fire!
The next day we started for the top of Boulder. We passed all these places on our way to Chokecherry Point. We made it too chokecherry point and it was the roughest trail I have ever been on. I'm pretty sure we won't be going on that one again! After that we made it to some other trail going back towards Teasdale but Brando's not home and I can't remember the name but it was much better!
We took a little break and stopped at a spring that was seriously like a little oasis on the dusty trail. All of us shed our shoes and played in the water for a little while before we headed back. We learned a lot for next year-but over all it was a lot of fun and we look forward to doing it again next year!

Fathers Day!

For Fathers Day the actual day we went to church and Talmage and Laine got to sing with the primary children for their Dad. They did such a good job! After church and naps we went to Brandon's Dad and Moms house for dinner we barbecued and played croquet it was a lot of fun! Teona Ann came down and surprised her Dad for Fathers Day and Great Grandma Jensen was there for dinner. Later that evening I brought the kids home so I could call my Dad and wish him a happy Fathers Day and put the kids to bed. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful Dads in my life.

Can we get in yet? The beauty of this place (Capital Reef Freemont River-I think) is that it's not that deep so the kids love to play in it and I don't have to be in the water with them!
Talmage is teaching Laine how to swim. Such a good brother.
Do you think he'll be a plumber some day? We forgot his little swimmer so he was going commando an his shorts wouldn't stay up:)
After playing in the water we took the kids down th the Gifford house and had pie and soda.

Fathers Day weekend

Fathers Day weekend started on Thursday for Brando we went four-wheeling on the east end of Boulder Mnt. We had a little picnic before our ride and then we took the Dark Valley Aquarius loop trail. I have to say it was one of the best and prettiest trails I have been on (and I've been on a lot)!

and Tal rode with me or should I say I rode with Tal since he wanted to drive almost the whole time!
We came across a old Cat Track that was broken down on the side of the trail so we took a break by it-the kids had a blast playing on it. It was really cool.
Friday Brando wanted to go up in the mountains and have a dutch oven dinner for his first of three Fathers Day meals so the kids and I decided to give him his Fathers Day gift then since I didn't know if they could keep a secret for that long and I wanted him to have a chance to try it out-only problem was I forgot the ammo! Minor Problem!!

Laine throwing rocks into the lake! Is it just my kids or does every kid love throwing rocks into water?
Sawyers latest thing is he loves to point and grunt- So we do our own interpretation of the grunts it can be pretty amusing:)

We took a little ride over to Lower Bowns last week it was a lot of fun! We tried to go out and play by the water but the wind was blowing so bad that we got out of the truck for about five minutes and had to get back in because the wind was blowing the sand around so bad! But five minutes or five hours we had lots of fun.

Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day Weekend was loads of fun!! All of my family came to stay the weekend to enjoy fishing and fourwheeling all that great holiday stuff. I don't know what the weather was like every where else but it was way cold down here. So we ended up watching movies and visiting. We tried to go fishing on Sat. but by the time we got to the lake it was snowing and too cold to enjoy being outside. The die hard fishermen got in about an hour of fishing the rest of us hung out in the trucks and had a chat! Brandon had to talk in church so it was fun having everyone there to listen-I don't know how fun he thought it was but we enjoyed it:) It was great getting together and just hanging out. We missed my Dad and Marcia but they're loving life on the mission so next year!

Great Grandpa came down to visit and stay a week with Richard and Teona. We got to spend a little time with him. We had a BBQ at our house and enjoyed one of the very few nice days we've had so far. After dinner the kids talked Grandpa into getting on the tramp with them. I don't know who had more fun us watching grandpa on the tramp or the kids attacking him!

We had fun with our friends from Logan! Jeni and Aaron swung by to see us on their way to California. We took them down to Capital Reef . It was great! The Gifford House celebrated 100 years since the last settlers left the area. They put on a play and had an ice cream, pie social. It was a lot of fun!

We took the kids for a ride on Sunday up past Fishlake , around Johnsons and down the Fremont River. Brandon took a few side roads to see how far we could get (not far we were in the van!) but I guess it was worth a try. We then went out to Grandpa and Grandma Jensens and took some fun pictures of the kids in the milk pump.

What a fun day for him.

They did a Hawaiian luau theme. The class did a small program with a beachball

toss and the limbo. It was really fun!!
